Role Purpose
Revenue is the lifeblood of a business, and in today's highly competitive market, it is essential to have scalable Revenue functions. The Revenue Operations Specialist plays a critical role in enabling sustainable growth by ensuring that operating excellence is driven through the Revenue teams.
Whether you're improving data governance, creating business analytics models, or streamlining key processes, you'll be at the forefront of driving positive change. You'll be the 'go-to' contact for all things related to process, data, and system management, and by leveraging your expertise in data analysis and insights, you'll be a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, providing them with valuable information that will drive their decision-making and contribute to the overall success of the business.

Key Role Accountabilities
Building out the responsibilities of the Revenue Operations Specialist from scratch, in the first role of its kind within the business.
Administration of the company CRM (Salesforce); owning the relationship with external Salesforce consultant; creation and enforcement of robust policies for optimum use of CRM; ensuring excellent data integrity within CRM; continuous evolution in pursuit of best practices.
Administration of all SaaS tools utilised by the Revenue functions; ownership of relationships with all associated vendors; continuous evolution in pursuit of best practices; driving adoption and maximum ROI of said tools.
Mapping, optimising, documenting key processes across the Revenue functions (using tools such as LucidChart); training of relevant stakeholders on necessary processes; ensuring consistent adherence to processes.
Use your insights to regularly recommend process improvements aimed at incrementally improving operating effectiveness across a range of key measurables.
Being the ‘go-to’ contact for matters of process, data governance and system management for the Revenue functions.
Building of and ownership of business analytics models and dashboards pertaining to the Revenue functions; building of reports, datasets and analytics on an ad-hoc basis, when requested by key stakeholders.
Communication of insights to key stakeholders via various means (shared documents, written analysis, recorded analysis, slide decks, in-person presentation)
Collaborating with Revenue function stakeholders to create and maintain effective alignment of the functions; assist Revenue function stakeholders in building, maintaining and interpreting key measurables within their functions, and how they interface with other functions, such as:
Marketing: CAC/LTV, conversion rates, ROI, pipeline, attribution.
Sales: Conversion rates, pipeline velocity, deal size, sales cycle length.
Customer success: Retention, renewal rates, service adoption, customer satisfaction.
Essential Skills/Experience
Your application will only be considered if you meet the following:-
Minimum 2 years experience of working within a technology or similar professional services business.
Minimum 1 year experience of working extensively within a CRM system at a technical level (i.e. sound working knowledge of workflows, validation rules, automations, custom objects and fields).
Demonstrable experience of working in a business with multiple Revenue functions (e.g. Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Customer Success, Customer Services).
Demonstrable experience in building, maintaining or analysing datasets, data models, or dashboards.
Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of key Revenue metrics as described in duties and responsibilities.
Intermediate Excel/Google Sheets skills (e.g. sumifs, xlookup, pivot tables).
Desired Skills/Experience
Your application will be prioritised if you meet any of the following:-
Extensive experience of Salesforce CRM (3 years+).
Extensive experience within Technology/SaaS business (3 years+).
Experience of HubSpot (for CRM and/or Marketing and/or Customer Success)
Demonstrable experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Business Operations (1 year+).
Experience using automation tools such as Zapier.
Upper intermediate or advanced Excel/Google Sheets skill (e.g. index match, sumproduct, power pivots, VBA, macros).

Remuneration
£35k - £50k depending on experience, paid gross per annum
Location
UK-based hybrid-working with WEEKLY visits to ourSouthampton office. Please note, you must have a professional home working environment (eg. separate home office) and with reliable broadband.
