Eficode’s R&D team is growing and we are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join the team! 🦄

Besides offering consulting services, Eficode has a Managed Services unit. Within this business area, our R&D team focuses on product innovation for and with our customers.

For that purpose, an essential part of our work is interacting with our customers to understand their challenges and needs. In our product development, we keep scalability, sustainability and user experience in mind.

Our latest product

Here is our current product, this is what you’ll be primarily involved in.

Our current product is written as an AWS native serverless application integrated with Eficode data sources such as our ERP to give customers visibility over their past, present and future with Eficode.

What will you be doing?

Our work involves interacting with different internal and external stakeholders. While each of us has their own expertise, we engage in other aspects of the product development than our own focus area. As part of our team, you will be involved in the whole product lifecycle from getting an idea to making it happen. This role is a perfect match for you who have prior experience in product development as you understand what to focus on in different phases. Doing research is at the core of our work, so you would be actively participating in understanding the customers’ challenges and finding the right solution(s) for their needs.

Who are we looking for?

• Experienced in working with both technical and non-technical people
• Eager to learn new things
• Open and respectful in your communication, as we foster a feedback culture
• Able to give and receive feedback

Required technical skills - we’re looking for a couple of years of experience in:

• Cloud technologies and infrastructure - AWS and serverless technologies
• REST & GraphQL API design & implementation
• Designing relational database schemas
• Python 3.9+, Python unit & integration testing
• System integrations planning and implementation
• Working with Github and Github Actions

We also think it’s awesome if you have:

• Previous experience in working in a startup environment
• Experience in participating in user research - participating in interviews, demos, observations
• Some experience in planning and implementing software architectures
• Some experience in frontend development and test automation: React, TypeScript, Storybook, Robot Framework

This position is full-time, permanent and available in Stockholm, Malmö, Sundsvall, Gothenburg or Łódź! Remote work is possible as long as you are located either in Finland or Poland.
