Ready to take on a new challenge?

We are seeking a skilled Head of Finance for Eficode Finland to ensure that financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you will also focus on subsidiary operation as part of international group processes, while managing an experienced team of finance professionals.

You will report to the Vice President, Group Finance and will be part of the Finnish leadership team.

Your responsibilities

• Financial Operations & Reporting
  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting for Finland.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Support decision-making through accurate and timely financial insights and analysis.

• Planning and Efficiency
  • Manage the annual budgeting process for Eficode Finland and monitor adherence.
  • Manage the monthly financial forecast process for Finland to ensure accurate outlook.
  • Drive improvements to enhance the efficiency of financial operations, with tools and processes

• Treasury and Cash Flow Management
  • Oversee and plan cash flow to ensure financial stability.
  • Optimize working capital management to support business needs.

• Team Leadership and Development
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of five finance professionals.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and high performance within the team.

• Compliance and Governance
  • Ensure alignment with local financial regulations and tax compliance.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and oversee financial audits.

Success factors

• Proven experience in a financial management and operational finance role.
• Hands-on expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and process improvement.
• Strong understanding of Finnish accounting standards and regulations, statutory accounting, and fiscal year end closing.
• Experience in managing finance teams and in collaborating with senior leadership.
• Solid analytical, strategic and decision-making abilities.
• Full working proficiency in English and Finnish.

Desired skills and qualifications

It would be an added bonus if you have:

• Knowledge of continuous services business models.
• A BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Relevant academic background in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (BSc/BA required; MSc/CPA/CFA is a plus).
• Experience with ERP, accounting and reporting software Netsuite, PowerBI.
