We’re currently looking for a Service Manager to join our UK Managed Services team and manage one of our largest strategic accounts. If you have experience in service management, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, agile environment, apply today!
Role purpose
As the leading DevOps tooling partner, we deliver cutting-edge solutions through ROOT, our flagship DevOps Platform that streamlines and enhances software development for our clients.
In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our service delivery team to ensure seamless execution and exceptional customer satisfaction. You’ll be responsible for overseeing client engagements, ensuring that our services consistently meet both our high internal standards and client expectations. This is a key position for someone passionate about delivering value, driving quality, and building strong client relationships in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Role responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include (but won't be limited to):
- Take ownership of one of our most strategic client accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and long-term partnership success.
- Oversee the daily operations of the service delivery team, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and implement service strategies that align with company goals.
- Monitor project progress and performance, addressing any issues promptly.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, gathering feedback and ensuring their needs are met.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Success factors
You will make a great match for this role if you have:
- 3-5 years of experience in a service management role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to strategise and solve problems effectively.
- Knowledge of service delivery and quality standards.
- Competent in using service management software and tools.
- A willingness to continuously improve service quality and processes together with the team.
- Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance.
Desired skills and qualifications:
It would be an added bonus if you have:
- Qualifications in Business Administration, Management, or relevant field.
- Experience in change management and process improvement.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment and an understanding of software development processes.
- Experience in handling valuable customer relationships, and empowering teams to meet their goals.
- Experience with agile practices such as Scrum and Kanban
- Knowledge of ITIL practices
- Existing UK Security Clearance would be beneficial but not mandatory.

Remuneration
£50k - £60k per annum.
Location
UK-based hybrid-working with regular visits (minimum once a month) to our Southampton office.
