Role purpose
As a License Renewal & Growth Manager at Eficode, you will play a key role in the customer lifecycle by owning the renewal and license growth motion across a portfolio of customers. Acting as the primary point of contact for licensing-related customer engagement, you will help protect and grow Eficode’s recurring revenue stream while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
This role combines elements of renewals management, customer success, licensing expertise, and account growth. Alongside managing renewals, you will proactively identify expansion opportunities across Eficode’s wider ecosystem, including Atlassian, GitHub, GitLab, AWS, and related platforms.
You’ll work closely with customers, Partner Sales Executives, Account Managers, and internal delivery teams to ensure customers continue to gain value from their platforms while supporting long-term growth opportunities.
Role responsibilities
Your main responsibilities as our License Renewal & Growth Manager will include (but won’t be limited to):
Owning and managing the customer renewal lifecycle across a portfolio of license customers, ensuring a predictable and stable renewal process while supporting recurring revenue retention and customer satisfaction
Driving upsell and growth opportunities including edition upgrades, product expansion, and co-terming strategies, while identifying opportunities across Atlassian, GitHub, GitLab, AWS, and Eficode services
Managing a large portfolio of accounts, including customers without an assigned Eficode Account Manager, and proactively deepening engagement with key growth accounts
Acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on licensing-related topics, supporting both customers and internal Account Managers with commercial and licensing expertise
Collaborating closely with Partner Sales Executives, vendor teams, and internal stakeholders to support active opportunities, customer growth initiatives, and strategic account development
Acting as the primary internal escalation point for complex licensing and renewal-related issues, while helping optimise and automate low-touch renewal and transactional customer interactions
Role Requirements
You will make a great match for this role if you have:
Previous experience working in renewals, customer success, licensing, account management, or sales roles
Experience managing customer relationships within enterprise software or subscription-based environments
A commercial mindset with confidence identifying upsell, expansion, or growth opportunities
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working with SaaS platforms, cloud technologies, or software licensing models
The ability to collaborate effectively with both commercial and technical teams
A proactive and customer-focused mindset
Curiosity and enthusiasm for modern software ecosystems and emerging technologies
Nice-to-have’s
It would be an added bonus if you have:
Experience working with Atlassian, GitHub, GitLab, AWS, or similar partner ecosystems
Previous experience within DevOps, cloud, or software consultancy environments
Familiarity with enterprise software procurement or subscription management
Experience working with CRM or customer success platforms
Knowledge of SaaS metrics such as renewal rate, net revenue retention, or customer health scoring
